Aboard With You

In an emergency, head to your muster station.

A short briefing of what to do, where to go, and where to find the equipment you need. Take a moment to read it now — you will be glad you did. The crew runs regular drills and will guide you if the alarm ever sounds.

Emergency Signal

General Emergency Alarm

7 short · 1 long

Seven short blasts followed by one long blast. Repeated continuously on the ship’s whistle and internal alarm bells.

On hearing the alarm

Stop what you are doing and stay calm.
Put on warm clothing and closed shoes.
Collect your life jacket from your cabin.
Proceed directly to your muster station.

To raise the alarm yourself

Alert the nearest crew member immediately.
Dial 9 from any internal phone — this rings the bridge and ECR.
Break the glass on any red MCP (manual call point) — found in every passageway.

Muster Stations

Main Saloon · Lower Deck

Primary Muster Station

All guests + interior crew

Default assembly point. Walk forward through the lobby; crew will direct you.

Sun Deck · Aft of the spa pool

Alternate Muster Station

Used if access to the Main Saloon is blocked

Crew will redirect you here if the primary station is unsafe (smoke, fire below).

Life Jacket Locations

Personal Flotation Devices

SOLAS-approved adult jackets in every cabin · whistle and light attached

Guest cabins

Inside the wardrobe, on the top shelf — adult sizes, plus one child jacket per cabin if requested.

Main Saloon

Reserve adult jackets in the cabinet beside the bar (marked with a green sign).

Sun Deck

Locker forward of the helm station — used at the alternate muster station.

Bridge & crew areas

Stored at each crew muster station; the crew will distribute additional jackets if needed.

Tender & water toys

Buoyancy aids are kept on each tender; required for everyone aboard while underway.

EEBD Locations

Emergency Escape Breathing Devices

10 minutes of clean air to evacuate through smoke · pull the tab and place the hood over your head

Lower deck passageway

Two units in the red cabinet outside the guest cabins.

Main deck lobby

One unit in the cabinet next to the stairwell down to the galley.

Engine Control Room

Four units mounted by the ECR door for engineering escape.

Bridge

Two units beside the chart table.

Crew mess

Two units in the red cabinet by the watertight door.

Before You Move

Walk — do not run. Use the handrails on stairs.

Do not use the lift in an emergency.

Leave personal belongings in your cabin — your life jacket is the priority.

Once at the muster station, wait for the head count and instructions from the crew.
